The Second Steel Industry Ultra Low Emission Control Technology Seminar was held in Beijing from September 16th to 17th.

The meeting was co sponsored by Beijing University of Science and Technology, the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hegang Group Co., Ltd., the National Engineering Laboratory of Smoke Multi pollutant Control Technology and Equipment, the Beijing Tianjin Iron and Steel Industry Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, the State Key Laboratory of New Iron and Steel Metallurgy Technology, and Sinosteel Tiancheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.

Focusing on the widely concerned technology and equipment for preventing and controlling steel flue gas pollution in the current society, we will promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, conduct in-depth exchanges on technology and steel flue gas pollution prevention and control, jointly research and promote advanced and applicable new concepts, technologies, and equipment in the industry, and work together to promote regional environmental quality improvement, promote green and sustainable development and transformation and upgrading of the steel industry.

This meeting discusses and studies how to accelerate the green and sustainable development, transformation and upgrading of the steel industry, leverage the supporting role of science and technology in pollution prevention and control, deeply exchange and promote advanced and applicable new processes, technologies, and equipment, and promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological innovation achievements.
